In Edmonton, the average sale price for a single-family detached home reached $580,000 in March, rebounding $40,000 from January's winter low. Median days on market dropped to 25 in March. This is a significant improvement from January's peak of 52 days, and confirming the spring market is well underway.

Residential sales in Greater Edmonton were down year-over-year in March, even as activity increased sharply from February. New listings and total inventory both rose, giving buyers more options and sellers more competition.
